Bilingual French Customer Support Representative

Job Description: We are actively expanding our teams and seeking individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel at multitasking, and are dedicated to providing exceptional customer service.


Our teams are staffed seven days a week, including weekends, to ensure we meet our time-sensitive deadlines. We foster a supportive team atmosphere and offer opportunities for professional growth.


Training for this opportunity would be conducted completely in office for approximately 60 - 90 days, based on the progress of the team. Once it is approved by management that the team is ready, following the in-office period, we would then have opportunity to move to a hybrid schedule which includes both remote and in-office days.

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for responding to incoming calls and emails, processing advertising orders, formatting, proofreading, and processing legal and obituary notices, providing product information, and resolving any customer inquiries or concerns. We are looking for someone who is patient, empathetic, and communicative. Responsibilities:

  • Manage large amounts of incoming calls and emails

  • Process customer accounts, proofread all work, reply to customers in a timely fashion, and produce a high level of work in a deadline-driven environment

  • Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfaction

  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication

  • Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools

  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits, follow up to ensure resolution

  • Take the extra mile to engage and assist customers

Skills:

  • Ability to speak, read, edit/write in English and French

  • Proven customer support experience or experience as a customer care/customer service representative

  • Track record of meeting and exceeding productivity and deadlines

  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.


Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $15.50 - $16.00 per hour
