The Digital Media Account Executive (DMAE) educates and provides businesses with digital business solutions to help them grow and prosper online.
The DMAE provides customized marketing programs that may include SEO, PPC, website design, social media, display targeting, online reputation management solutions, and various bundled or stand-alone print products designed to target and generate new business and positively promote clients’ online reputation.
Key responsibilities in this role include, but are not limited to:
Actively manage and serve a portfolio of business while growing the book of business by consistently identifying, prospecting, and generating new business.
Identify new business opportunities by targeting new clients by exposing gaps in current digital advertising campaigns, such as impression share deficiencies, missing platforms, or other digital product opportunities that will assist clients with more effective online positioning.
Effectively demonstrate and sell the value of our digital advertising products including but not limited to: Websites, SEO/SEM, Social, Reputation Management, Video, and Mobile Optimization.
Successfully sell the company’s and its client’s digital and print advertising solutions via emails, phone calls, and where applicable, in-person visits.
Become a subject matter expert in the company and its client’s advertising solutions to successfully overcome customer objections, handle rejection, and close sales.
Execute sales tactics, implement marketing strategies, and deliver effective sales presentations digitally and in person.
Achieve monthly sales objectives; support month-end reporting completion.
Assist the sales team to enhance multimedia recommendations through research to meet customers’ expectations while utilizing our digital product suite.
Enter into, and manage, various systems for all digital orders in accordance with all applicable polices guidelines and deadlines, including responsibility to record all sales activity (prospecting, opportunities, revenue, and next steps) in Salesforce.com.
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree required; Business Administration, Communications or Marketing preferred.
Minimum of 3 (three) years of progressive sales experience with a track record of accomplishments.
Highly skilled and proficient in digital media sales, SEO, SEM, Social, Mobile and emerging technologies; Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Ability to multitask, manage multiple assignments and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, team-oriented environment.
Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills; expertise in developing and fostering business relationships.
Possess a thorough understanding of how to use digital media to educate advertisers on what strategies and platforms are optimal for them to effectively reach, engage and inform audiences about their products and services.
In-depth knowledge and proficiency of research tools.
Understanding of the principles of marketing and advertising as well as media concepts and terms.
Ability and desire to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to work effectively in an office or in a hybrid telecommuting environment.
Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and a satisfactory driving record; ability to travel within the United States and Canada.
