Media Sales Plus is currently hiring a Multimedia Marketing Associate (MMA) to join our team of media sales professionals. The primary responsibility of this position is to sell and handle print and digital advertising on behalf of Company and the client partners it serves. Responsibilities include managing relationships with advertisers, effectively selling, renewing, and expanding client accounts, overseeing the sales process, and acting as a primary point of contact. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional closing, organizational, and communication skills, proficiency in system processing, as well as the ability to perform well under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following functions:
Effectively manage the advertising process with advertisers that are inquiring and placing advertising.
Cultivate warm leads, conduct thorough needs analyses, provide recommendations, and ultimately secure new and recurring multimedia print and digital advertising within a designated territory or region across the broad spectrum of
print and digital advertising products.
Answer calls and email inquiries regarding advertising and customer service in an expeditious and professional manner.
Consistently grow existing relationships with advertisers and identify additional print and digital advertising opportunities to meet the needs of the advertisers.
Coordinate and process orders for advertising products including but not limited to retail display ads, print inserts, flyers, digital media buys, social media buys, and other products as required.
Perform regular outreach to existing advertisers to foster long-term business relationships.
Cooperate with members of extended team and management to provide the highest quality of service internally and externally.
Become proficient in various systems used to intake and process advertising in accordance with all applicable polices guidelines and deadlines; ensure accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of the same.
Fully track and record all sales information in specified systems on a daily basis.
Provide exceptional customer service to advertisers by addressing their concerns and inquiries and recommending the best solution in a timely and professional manner.
Accomplishes all tasks as appropriately assigned or requested.
Provides support on special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of a High school diploma or equivalent required. An associate or bachelor’s degree in business or marketing is preferred.
1-2 years of experience in sales or customer service, preferably within an inside sales environment. Prior telephone sales and account management experience preferred.
Strong computer and data entry skills.
Knowledge of advertising and marketing products is preferred.
Exemplary communication skills when speaking on the phone with customers.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
